Collecting Robert Frost

Please join rare book dealer Jett W. Whitehead at the Roethke House for a jam-packed one hour presentation about “Collecting Robert Frost.” Q & A will be welcome during/throughout the show & tell.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Jett W. Whitehead Rare Books began operating in January, 1991, in Bay City, Michigan. Since our inception, we have dealt exclusively in modern poetry and the work of modern poets. Our carefully selected stock includes first editions of books, chapbooks, broadsides, uncorrected proofs, letters, and manuscript material of modern poetry. Jett has recently published a creative prose piece about Roethke, "God Bless the Roots!," in The Limberlost Review 2025.

We exhibit and display our stock at book fairs around the country, including The Ann Arbor Antiquarian Book Fair, in our home state of Michigan. Jett is an active member of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America (ABAA) and the Midwest Antiquarian Booksellers' Association (MWABA), and has served on the Board of Governors and the Board of Directors of both organizations.

This is a pay-as-you-can event. If you are able to, please consider making a donation to support our work keeping the Roethke and Stone Houses maintained and providing year-round access to free poetry programming. The Roethke Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Saginaw, MI, and donations of any size are appreciated.
