August 5, 2022 • LITERARY HOUSE TOURS

$0.00
Sold Out

As part of the Open House 2022 weekend, two literary-oriented house tours will be offered with Jeff Vande Zande. Vande Zande teaches fiction writing, screenwriting, and film production at Delta College in Michigan. He is the author of American Poet: A Novel, a novel that has been described as “a love poem for the city of Saginaw,” and for which Vande Zande utilized the Roethke House and its archives as part of his research.

Tours will start at 4:00 and at 5:00 on Friday, August 5. They will last up to 45 minutes. The house will have an ADA ramp for the weekend events, so the first floor will be accessible to anyone with mobility considerations.

Tours are capped at 8 people. Register here to reserve your spot. Registration is not required. The event is free thanks to funding from Michigan Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
